Our grape varieties

Here only the noble grape varieties of Burgundy have the right to be cited. Chardonnay and Pinot-Noir are in their element.
Chardonnay, a unique grape variety of the great Burgundy vintages, a grape variety of Meursault, Pulligny-Montrachet, Chablis and other Pouilly-Fuissé, was however born 5 kilometres from here in the village of Chardonnay! A grape variety recognised the world over it’s on its original land that it gives the best of itself.
Pinot-Noir, a grape variety of the great Burgundies since a decree of Philippe le Hardi dating back to 1395 is at home here.  The grape variety of Pommard, Chambertin and Volnay revelled in these clay limestone hills under the region’s temperate climate.
