The Quintefeuille Estate is situated in Lugny, 20 kilometres north of Mâcon, between Cluny and Tournus.
A family-run 15 hectare estate, the Quintefeuille Estate operates its vines under the Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Mâcon Villages, Mâcon Lugny and Mâcon Lugny “Les Charmes” designations.
The estate is furthermore the biggest independent producer of this designation that represents the jewel of local production.
The soils are those of the great Burgundy vintages, clay and limestone, which will give the richest vintages but also white clay that will produce the most delicate wines.
With 45 years, the average age of the vines is particularly high for the sector. The youngest are soon 10 years and the oldest exceed 80! With great soils and vines in the prime of life, everything is in place to make great wines.
