Philosophy

At the Quintefeuille Estate, if we have chosen to be winegrowers it’s out of passion and a love of the vine. This is why we practice a responsible, sustainable viticulture. From the beginning, we have applied the principles of responsible farming. In the wine cellar, work is carried out in the same work ethic as that of the vine: you don’t command nature, you accompany it. The estate has furthermore adopted as its major life principle this proverb often attributed to Antoine de Saint Exupéry: “We don’t inherit the earth from our parents; we borrow it from our children.”
